Tomorrow is the first day of September which means fall fashion is within reach. For those of us who adore the lighter color palette of summer, the idea of switching over to darker tones while the weather is still warm can be a little jarring. The good news is, you can ease your way into fall with blush and nude pieces that look perfect with your still tanned skin and transition well into autumnal life. I also love to start a new perfume at the beginning of a new season, there’s something about scents and new beginnings that I find so lovely.
Every few years the seventies come back into style and I always have mixed feelings about the reemergence of corduroy, flared jeans (not my 5’2 frame’s best look), and orange accents. However, one trend that I can get on board with is suede fringe. Add the suede fringe element to any outfit and you instantly elevate your look. I snagged this BCBG suede jacket a few years ago and there are endless styling possibilities. This season I’m craving a suede fringe bag and hopefully I’ll pick one up soon! How do you transition your summer pieces to fall? I’d love to know!
